W+75 The victory of NOGAY Nadezhda (KAZ), Junior World Champion and several times Youth World Champion was not questionable. With 6 good lifts, the Kazakh lifter got and easy win over all other contenders. She was crowned World Champion of the Women’s +75kg bodyweight category taking the lead over CHAIDEE Duangaksorn (THA) and DHIEB Yosra (TUN). ABBAS Halima Abdelazim Sedky (EGY) missed two attempts in the Snatch, and her Clean and Jerk result of 141kg wasn’t enough to make it to the podium in the Total. M+105 As an unexpected move, MARTIROSYAN Simon (ARM) bombed out after six missed attempts. Starting his Snatch at 177kg and going up for 178kg, he missed all three. Coming for the Clean and Jerk, the weight of 215kg seemed too high to start with – he couldn’t control any of the lifts. The road was paved with Gold for SAVCHUK Antoniy (RUS). Head to head with the Belorussian lifter in the Snatch – SAVCHUK took the lead with an advantage of 5kg. KENJAEV Davron (UZB) finished third but only by bodyweight lifting 173kg, just as CHINEN Kosuke (JPN). China’s WANG and Russia’s KHUGAEV crowned World Champions

W69 1kg advantage in the Snatch and 1kg advantage in the Clean and Jerk was enough for the Chinese lifter WANG Jie (CHN) to win all three Gold Medals in the Women’s 69kg bodyweight category. Missing two times her Snatch at 106kg, WANG registers her first result at an IWF sanctioned event. Behind her AHMED Sara Samir Elsayed Mohamed (EGY), also missed two attempts in the Snatch, but was confident enough in the Clean and Jerk to register three Good lifts. AHMED who is several times Youth World Champion as well as Youth Olympic Champion in Nanjing 2014 is a real hope for Egypt in the lead up to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Following them, with a Total result of 209kg – 23kg less than Silver Medallist – NGARLEM Kristel (CAN) stood up on the third place of the podium, winning Canada’s first and only medal at the 2015 IWF Junior World Championships. KHUGAEV had only to lift once – Clean and Jerk at 202kg – to win the Gold, and he never came out for his second and third attempts. 2014 Youth Olympic Champion KHUGAEV Khetag (RUS) already competed in 4 bodyweight categories. Starting his first international competition in the 69kg, he is impressively dominating in the 94. With his Total of 374kg, he was one of the most impressive Russian athlete competing in Wroclaw. However AHMED made it second with 214kg, 2kg ahead of NGUYEN. WEI Lufan (CHN) was only 1kg behind after the Snatch – and having a unique good lift in the Clean and Jerk with 120kg, she got awarded the Gold in the Total. Ranking second in the Snatch and in the Cleaan and Jerk she still was the best in the end. Men’s 77kg – the toughest competition so far

W58kg SRISURAT Sukanya (THA) started the Snatch with 100kg, executed it with great precision, perfectly controlling the weight just as for her attempt at 103kg and 105kg. She was unstoppable all along, even though missing her third Clean and Jerk at 128kg, she gave that Gold Medal away to the Chinese lifter ZHOU Jun (CHN). ZHOU tried to catch the leading SRISURAT but her efforts were not enough as the 9kg disadvantage from the Snatch was too much for a comeback. With 20kg less than the Gold Medallist, RIM Un Sim (PRK) stood on third place of the podium. Being also less confident in the Snatch, she missed 99kg twice, the Clean and Jerk 4th place was enough to get a medal. M77kg Men’s 77kg was mainly about missed attempts and pass-outs. After the Snatch, several athletes didn’t came out for the Clean and Jerk, while we could witness altogether 17 no lifts. As a surprise, MOHAMED KADHUM Karrar (IRQ) bombed out in the Snatch as he missed 148kg three times. So far we can say this was the toughest competition here at the 2015 IWF Junior World Championships Wroclaw. Youth World Champion in 2012, the Armenian lifter KARAPETYAN Andranik missed his first two Snatch at 155kg, controlling it only at his third attempt. That was still higher than Silver Medallist MIRI Ali (IRI) who did 150kg. Third place STOIAN Doru Ilie (ROU) got only 5th in the Clean and Jerk but still maid it third in the Total 326kg. The Iranian lifter MIRI won easily the gold in the Clean and Jerk with 332kg, and ended only 3kg behing Gold winner KARAPETYAN. MOSQUERA LOZANO Luis Javier won the Gold for Colombia

PAKKARATHA Rattanaphon (THA) managed to get back on track after a 5th place Snatch lifting also 115kg and winning the Gold in the Clean and Jerk by bodyweight. There was no question in the Total al LIU got enough advantage in the Snatch to keep her leading position. The Egyptian lifter IBRAHIM Basma Emad Gouda Mohamed (EGY) ended the Snatch ranking 7th with 83kg and had to fight hard to get a chance to finish on the podium. With her 106kg Clean and Jerk as last attempt, she got was she came for. Training hard in the past period, she took the Bronze Medal in the Total with 189kg. 4th (VIE) and 5th (COL) place were only 1kg behind with 188kg. M69 The Colombian lifter MOSQUERA took a strong start in the Snatch and went up to 151kg with 3 successful attempts. He was followed closely by YUAN Chengfei (CHN) ending second by bodyweight with also 151kg as last successful lift. Third place KWON Yong Gwang’s (PRK) first attempt at 138kg seemed too heavy, but he managed to go up till 141kg, having a 10kg drawback. The Clean and Jerk was an easy one for MOSQUERA LOZANO Luis Javier (COL) who tried to break the long standing Clean and Jerk Junior World Record of LIAO Hui (CHN), but the 191kg weight seemed a bit heavy in the end. With his Total of 338kg, he was handed over the Gold Medal by the President of the Colombian Weightlifting Federation, Mrs. Ana Camacho.
