New edition of the National Competition Management System

The IWF has introduced the National Competition Management System (NCMS) in 2006. This application - similar to the IWF TIS used on the World Championships - provides a complex solution available for National Federations to manage national and international weightlifting competitions. This application is used by several countries around the world with great satisfaction. The IWF is continuously updating the software according to the latest rules and in the near future the renewed version of IWF NCMS will be available. The NCMS 2011 edition will not only include the latest rules but following the technology improvements, it will be operational with Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007.The operation of the software will be easier and more efficient. Considering the growing interest for youth competitions and the different bodyweight categories within, the new application will be able to manage combined competitions including youth, junior and senior.By using the 2011 version 3 different competitions can run at the same time, in all 3 age groups (youth, junior, senior) and as a result of such an update the system can provide the 9 separate Result Books automatically from this combined competition.
