Jesmond Caruana is very close to win the Official of the Year in Malta

Jesmond Caruana in among the top five candidates for the Official of the Year award in Malta! Federation Internationale de l'Automobile President Jean Todt will be visiting Malta later this month to present the 2010 Sport Malta Awards. It will be the former Ferrari F1 Manager's first visit as FIA President.  The finalists in all five categories were announced early January. The Weightlifting Family notices with great pleasure that Mr. Jesmond Caruana was nominated in the category of Official of the Year 2010 due to his dedicated national and international work as Weightlifting Official. China IWF Weightlifting Grand Prix

The Chinese Weightlifting Association and the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) organize this Grand Prix, to be held in Majiang Weightlifting Training Center, Fuzhou City, China from the 15 to 17 January 2011, as an individual Olympic Qualification competition. 60 athletes of National Weightlifting Associations and Federations were invited and a Prize Money of 5,000 USD will be awarded to gold medalists. IWF Membership Fee

According to the IWF Constitution, the Annual Membership Fee of the IWF is 500 USD. The Membership Fee is due by the end of January 2011. Please make sure that your National Federation transfers the above amount to the IWF before the set
