Announcing the 2010 ZKC Email International Club Tournament

On June 24-27, the Oceania Weightlifting Federation will be running the 2010 ZKC Email International Club Weightlifting Tournament sponsored once again by Zhangkong Barbell Company. Last year this tournament produced a record entry of 144 clubs worldwide, from 25 countries representing the 5 continents,  with 662 lifters taking part. This year we would like to break this record  and make this  tournament  the biggest single event worldwide in the numbers of participation. The OWF is fully aware of the financial difficulties that lifters, clubs and federations face year after year in traveling expenses to competitions. This Email International Club tournament, although held within the weightlifting clubs in each country, gives the opportunity to lifters and clubs to compete against each other at an international level without any expenses whatsoever.  Herewith please find the competition regulation for the Tournament. I would appreciate if you could encourage as many clubs as possible throughout your Federation/Association by forwarding it to them. If you have any queries regarding this tournament, please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected]  or [email protected]  The OWF website is www.oceaniaweightlifting.com   Paul Coffa  MBEGeneral SecretaryOceania Weightlifting Federation
