The IWF reports that as a consequence of the International Olympic Committee's re-analysis program in connection with the 2012 London Olympic Games, the urine samples of the following Athletes have returned Adverse Analytical Findings: Ms. Meline DALUZYAN (ARM) - Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone and Stanozolol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents) Mr. Valentin HRISTOV (AZE) - Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents) Mr. Mikalai NOVIKAU (BLR) -  Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone and Stanozolol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents) Mr. Oleksiy TOROKHTIY (UKR) -  Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents) Mr. Ruslan NURUDINOV (UZB) -  Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents) In line with the respective rules the IWF imposed mandatory provisional suspensions on the Athletes. The International Olympic Committee is responsible to decide about any consequences relating to the Athletes' participation in the 2012 London Olympic Games. In all cases where it is determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation was committed, the responsibility to conduct results management will be transferred to the IWF in terms of consequences extending beyond the Athletes' Olympic Games participation. WHEREABOUTS REMINDER Q1

This is a reminder that every Athlete included in the International Registered Testing Pool (IRTP) shall submit their whereabouts information through the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS) throughout the whole year on a quarterly basis. The deadline to submit for the first quarter (Q1) of 2019 is 31 December 2018. Please also note that Athletes who are not included in the IRTP but wish to compete at IWF Events shall provide whereabouts information for at least the two-months period prior to the Event. In case of an IWF World Championships the length of this period is three months. Athletes who do not fulfil these criteria shall not be eligible to compete at the IWF Event in question. Elections of the South American Weightlifting Confederation

On December 6th, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, the South American Weightlifting Confederation (CSLP) carried out the election of the new Executive Board. With the presence of all the 11 CSLP Member Federations and representatives of federations of Spain and USA, the Congress was opened by the President of the Olympic Committee of Ecuador, Dr.  Augusto Morón, who highlighted how strong weightlifting is in South America and wished good luck to all the participants. For the first time in the history of CSLP, two ladies were elected as vice-presidents. Doris Marrero, representing Venezuela and Claudelina Montiel from Paraguay.
