Elections of the South American Weightlifting Confederation
On December 6th, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, the South American Weightlifting Confederation (CSLP) carried out the election of the new Executive Board.
With the presence of all the 11 CSLP Member Federations and representatives of federations of Spain and USA, the Congress was opened by the President of the Olympic Committee of Ecuador, Dr. Augusto Morón, who highlighted how strong weightlifting is in South America and wished good luck to all the participants.
For the first time in the history of CSLP, two ladies were elected as vice-presidents. Doris Marrero, representing Venezuela and Claudelina Montiel from Paraguay.
The complete Executive Board 2018-2022 is now conformed as follows:
