EUWC Electoral Congress

The IV European Union Cup was held this past weekend in Rome. On 16th of December 2017 at the Electoral Congress of European Union Weightlifting Confederation Jesmond Caruana (MLT) was elected President of the (EUWC) European Union Weightlifting Confederation. USA Weightlifting Named National Sport Governing Body of the Year

The International Sports Awards will name USA Weightlifting "National Sport Governing Body of the Year" during an awards gala in Washington, D.C. later this week. According to the event organizers, the International Sports Awards honors excellence in the sport industry. "This award reflects our team's commitment to our members, our sport and the greater Olympic movement," USA Weightlifting CEO Phil Andrews said. The International Sports Awards recognizes organizations worldwide with 13 awards including: International Sports Federation of the Year National Sports Governing Body of the Year Sports Sponsorship Campaign of the Year Sports CSR Campaign of the Year Sports Venue of the Year Sports Event of the Year Sports Agency of the Year Sports Media Award Women in Sport Award Sports Innovation of the Year Sports Club of the Year Sports Community of the Year ISA Lifetime Achievement Award For more details visit the International Sports Awards here. In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.
