South American Weightlifting Confederation Magazine Launched
South American Weightlifting Confederation launched its first magazine! The region is in the center of the international weightlifting community having organized important events like the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the Buenos Aires 2018 YOG, the 2018 IWF World Championships and the 2019 Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru. José Quiñones, President of the South-American Weightlifting Confederation, IWF Vice President and Peru NOC President said: “We are happy to announce this significant milestone to launch our first electronic issue of our magazine. No doubt the region is emerging and weightlifting can display the fastest growing sport in the region and in a global context. The magazine will provide platform for sharing knowledge, experience in order to further enhance the development in weightlifting in the region.“ Next issue is planned to be published in
