Iraq Olympic Weightlifting Team prepare for Asia and Arab Championships
Iraq Olympic weightlifting National Team for Youth and Youngsters carries on intensive training in the camp it holds in AL Kut Club hall in Wasset Province and that in order to participate in Asia Championship which will be held in UAE from December 15 till December 25 and Arab Championship to be held in the Jordanian Capital Amman at the end of the current month.
The Training Camp included friendly meetings and conferences in order to hoist the technical performance of the players. 20 lifters of different body weights are participating in this training camp under the supervision of Youth National Team coaching team: Sabah Zaboun as technical director, in addition to Mazen Hamid and Abdul Sattar Yassin. On the other hand, youngsters national team is supervised by Abdul Karim Kathem as a Technical coach in addition to Mohammad Jawad and Khasro Ismail.
It is to be mentioned that Iraq Association for Olympic Weightlifting provided all the equipments that help the training team to reach the aim of the camp in order for the lifters to make good results in the Championships to come.
