Weightlifting Competition Manager for Beijing 2008 Confirmed
We are happy and proud to note that Ms WANG Yan has been confirmed to be the Weightlifting Competition Manager for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Holding Masters Degree in Physical Education and Sport Management, Ms Wang has been with the Chinese Weightlifting Association since 1998 and gained ample experience in international management through various major events, including Olympic Games, as Team Manager or Competition Director.
She is Deputy General Secretary of the Asian Weightlifting Federation and was elected Member of the IWF Scientific and Research Committee for 2005-2008.
