The 4th East Asian Games are going on!
The 4th East Asian Games in Macau started on the 29th October with a marvellous Opening Ceremony. The Organizing Committee charmed the spectators with a sensational show including huge live birds!
From the nine participating NOCs seven (CHN, JPN, KOR, MAC, MGL, PRK, TPE) compete in weightlifting competitions started on the 30th October.
Weightlifting made a very impressive debut on the Games, as already in the first competition (48 kg) the ladies broke the records 17 times setting up new Games, Asian and World Records!
The World Record made by YANG Lian, CHN with 117 kg in Clean and Jerk is the first new World Record on the 4th East Asian Games!
