IWF launched the ADAMS (Anti-Doping Administration and Management System) Program on the 1st April 2011. Every IWF NF shall submit their national team athletes' whereabouts through this system quarterly. The next quarter's deadline is the 1st June. WADA Foundation Board Meeting

IWF President and WADA Foundation Board Member Dr. Tamás Aján participated in the WADA Foundation Board Meeting held in Montreal, Canada on 15 May 2011. During the well organized meeting, WADA President John Fahey, General Director David Howman and the recently appointed Director, European Regional Office and International Federations Relations Frédéric Donzé acknowledged and emphasized on the enormous efforts the IWF put in the fight against doping for decades now. The successful IWF World Anti-Doping Conference showed that even after 34 years of unrelenting fight against doping, the IWF shall keep up with its program and inform its NFs more frequently on the applicable rules. According to WADA's fundamental set of rules harmonizing the global fight against doping in sport, the IWF is fully compliant to the World Anti-Doping Code. Test Event to guarantee great weightlifting competitions in Shenzhen

FISU CT Chair for Weightlifting Anikó Németh-Móra, IWF Technical Delegate Attila Ádámfi and IWF Technology Director Róbert Nagy have been to a mission in Shenzhen, China, on the occasion of a Test Event for the 26th Summer Universiade.As it is known, weightlifting will feature for the first time on the program of the Universiade to be held in August in China's fastest developing city, Shenzhen. The SU 2011 Organising Committee, alongside the Longgang District Government staged a 2-day Youth Weightlifting Invitational Tournament in the weightlifting venue just completed. The magnificent building which is to be found within the boundaries of the 2011 Universiade complex, belongs to the Shenzhen Sports School and can offer excellent conditions to the weightlifting events to take place from 13th to 18th August. The Test Event included the testing of the Competition Management System developed by China and seeking the IWF Technology Licence approval. "All in all, we have been very satisfied with the Test Event and with some minor adjustments we can see the success of the SU weightlifting events guaranteed." stated the IWF delegates visiting Shenzhen. "It now remains only up to our membership to include their competitors in as high numbers as possible in their countries' Universiade delegations to make a breakthrough impression with weightlifting in Shenzhen," they added. To further strengthen our communication with our NFs, we wish to inform you on the doping result of such events to the extent the ADP allows us. Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation’s introductory visit at the IWF headquarters

After a 3 years period of administrative delays, the Bulgarian Ministry of Sport gave the official license to the newly formed Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation lead by President Nedelcho Kolev. On the 20th of May 2011, President Nedelcho Kolev accompanied by General Secretary Borislav Gidikov and International Director Sevdalin Marinov made an official visit to the IWF headquarters in Budapest, Hungary in order to formalize the cooperation between the Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation and the IWF lead by its President Dr. Tamás Aján. The Bulgarian Federation leaded by Olympic medallists ensured the IWF about their commitment in close cooperation for the benefits of weightlifting sport. IWF President Dr. Tamás Aján holds fruitful relations with President Kolev since 1975, and since more than 30 years with the 2 Olympic Medallists. Both partners expressed their determination of maintaining a successful collaboration in the
