The IWF Constitution Reform Congress shall be held in person. Therefore, Member Federations are expected to send their delegations to Doha. We hereby remind you that the IWF will cover flight tickets for only one (1) delegate on the condition that the flight is booked by IWF. After your registration is complete on the e-entry platform, the IWF will provide you with your flight tickets.
We are aware that in certain exceptional circumstances, some Member Federations, due to the situation of the pandemic, might be prevented from travelling to Doha. As an exceptional measure, in order to ensure that all Member Federations – even the absent ones – receive an equal opportunity to participate in the deliberation and vote, we shall provide those prevented with an opportunity to join the Congress via a special link.
Please note, however, that those Member Federations that shall use such opportunity will do so at their own risks and that the IWF shall not be liable for any claim resulting from any possible technical failures which will be deemed as a consequence of the Member Federations own decision to attend the Congress online.
If you are prevented to attend the event in person, please inform the IWF at constitution@nulliwfnet.net.
Deadline extension
We also know that in the recent weeks all Member Federations were focusing on the participation at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, therefore the deadline to register is extended until 10 August 2021.
You will find the Congress registration under the Congress menu in the
e-entry system. The password to the e-entry is the one which your Federation uses to register competition entries.
Please be aware that to complete your registration all required fields, including but not limited to personal data, appointment letter and waiver form have to be filled in or uploaded. You can find the waiver form here. In case you are a voting delegate, without an appointment letter, you will not be able to complete your registration.
Delegates and appointment letter
Please note that maximum two (2) delegates of your respective Federation are invited to attend the Congress in person. Please note that only one delegate per Member Federations hold the voting right.
Registration at the e-entry
Please do not forget to upload your official appointment letter, (i.e. a letter with leader head, stamp and signature of your Federation) stating the name and the position of the dedicated voting delegate and the second delegate.
Visa Application
Please note that your visa will be issued on arrival at the airport. In order to enter Qatar you have to have a passport valid for six months before expiration. Please do not forget to upload your passport copy to the
e-entry system.
If you need invitation letter to start the visa procedures, please send a complete list of names with passport data, address in time to the Organizing Committee (qwlbb@nullolympic.qa) for the issuance of invitation letters.
Translation
Translations shall be available throughout the whole Congress in 5 languages (English, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic.)
