COLOMBIA is preparing for the 2008 Junior World Weightlifting Championships
The Colombian Weightlifting Federation as the host of the event has enthusiastically started the preparation for the 2008 Junior World Weightlifting Championships. Soon the regulation will be published as well with all the details. The event will take place in Cali, Colombia from 12th to 19th June
Marcus Stephen elected as President of Nauru
Former Olympian, multiple Oceania and Commonwealth Champion, Member of the Weightlifting Hall of Fame, silver medal winner of the 1999 Athens World Championships in 62kg, Marcus STEPHEN was elected as the new President to the Republic of Nauru.He replaced the former President ousted by a no confidence vote in the 18-seat Nauruan Parliament.Congratulations, H.E.Marcus Stephen!
