IWF Statement on the CAS Decision
The IWF acknowledges the ruling announced today by the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) and will work in accordance with the CAS mandate to ensure a smooth and fair electoral congress. The 2022 IWF Electoral Congress will be held June 25-26, 2022, in Tirana, Albania. Following this important milestone, this will conclude the three issues addressed by our Olympic partners; first updating the constitution which was ratified in January 2022, second cleaning up the sport from doping where there have been zero cases in Tokyo 2020 and now the elections.
