Anti-Doping Seminars in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWA), in cooperation with the Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT) and the National Olympic Committee, held an Anti -Doping Seminar in Chiang Mai, Thailand for national weightlifters and coaches.
The main principles of the seminar were:
1. To prepare coaches and athletes to participate in the local and international events
2. To educate athletes on the IWF Anti-Doping policy and the WADA Code
3. To test the knowledge of participants by Anti-Doping ELearning System (ADeL-Alpha)
DCAT experts gave lectures to the audience about doping prevention. TAWA emphasized they will make all efforts against doping and making weightlifting a clean sport in the country.
