Three consecutive Junior World Champion titles for CJ Cummings

The USA reigns over the Men’s 69kg bodyweight category for three years in a row with CUMMINGS JR Clarence (USA) dominating the field.

After two good lifts in the Snatch, CUMMINGS JR Clarence (USA), tried to widen the gap and take some extra advantage with his third lift. He missed his attempt at 145kg, but still with 140kg he won the first Gold of the event.

He was followed by two Turkish lifters. One of them OZBEK Muhammed Furkan (TUR) had three good lifts and ended right behind CUMMINGS, while the other ILHAN Ramazan (TUR) ended third with only one good lift at 137kg.

Going for 171kg, 174kg and 176kg, the defending Junior World Champion CUMMINGS JR made it look easy to win with his well controlled strength and precise technique.

He ended with three Gold Medals and a Total of 316kg.

After ranking only 5th after the Snatch, DIMITRASCU Paul (ROU) had three good lifts in the Clean and Jerk defeating the results of the two Turkish lifters. He got two Silver Medals ending with a Total of 309kg.

OZBEK Muhammed Furkan (TUR), missed only one of his attempts. He reached 168kg with his second one securing the Bronze Medal in the Clean and Jerk and in the Total as well with 306kg.
