5 cities bidding for the 2018 IWF Junior World Championships
The International Weightlifting Federation has received the Candidature of five Candidate cities bidding to host the 2018 IWF Junior World Championships.
According to the procedure the list of cities that announced their intent is as follows:
Minsk, BLR
Eilat, ISR
Pyongyang, PRK
Anaheim, USA
Tashkent, UZB
The Hosting Right of the 2018 IWF Junior World Championships will be allocated on 22-23 June 2016 during the upcoming IWF Executive Board meeting held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

22 May 2016 Member Federations submit the Candidature Questionnaire to IWF Secretariat
22 May 2016 Member Federations provide guarantee letter(s) / letter(s) of support (from Government / City / NOC / sponsor)
22 May 2016 Deposit fee to be paid by the Member Federations to the IWF as per IWF Constitution
22-23 June 2016 Delegations to present their Candidature at the IWF Executive Board meeting
22-23 June 2016 attribution of the hosting right by the IWF Executive Board
