EWF Technical Officials’ Seminar in Kosice
The EWF held a Seminar for Technical Officials in Kosice on 6th and 7th November 2015. The Seminar was fully covered by funds coming from the IWF Development Program. It was a very interesting and interactive seminar with the participation of 19 National Federations. The speakers were Mr. Benny Johansson (SWE), Mr. Steve Cannon (GBR), EWF Vice Presidents and Ms. Denise Offermann (CYP), General Secretary of the National Federation of Cyprus. Among other topics, the psychological aspects of being a TO, the main changes of the technical rules since the Congress of Baku and the duties of the TOs were also discussed. Before the Seminar there was an official reception hosted by the Mayor of Kosice, Mr. Richard Rasi at the historical Town Hall.
The IWF was represented by Mr. Attila Adamfi, Director General and Ms. Eva Moska, Development and Education Director. Ms Reiko Chinen, IWF Technical Committee Member and Chair of the Technical Committee of the Asian Weightlifting Federation was also present.
