Snatch and Total Youth World Records broken by JIANG Huihua

New Youth World Record was set in the Snatch by the Chinese lifter JIANG Huihua first at 89kg and then raising it to 92. She broke her compatriot’s TIAN Yuan’s (CHN) record from the 2010 IWF World Championships Antalya, TUR at 88kg. Only 1kg behind her, HOU Zhihui (CHN) got the Silver Medal, and tried to challenge JIANG in the Clean and Jerk.

Bronze Medallist RI Song Gum (PRK) had some serious difficulties in catching up with the two Chinese lifters being incredibly focused all along the competition. With her best Clean and Jerk at 104kg, she won two other Bronze Medals.

In the Clean and Jerk, both Chinese lifters came out for their first attempts on 105kg – good lifts. Going for 110kg for their second attempts – wonderfully executed good lifts again. Third attempts were set to 113kg, bringing the Gold in the Clean and Jerk to HOU by bodyweight over JIANG.

The Total Youth World Record (TIAN Yuan (CHN), 204kg, Antalya) was set now to 205kg by JIANG who stood on first place of the podium to take over her well-deserved Gold after 6 good lifts and impressive Records.
