SEAWF Congress
The Southeast Asian Weightlifting Federation held its 2014 Congress in Bangsaen, THA in the presence of Dr. Tamas Ajan, IWF President and Attila Adamfi, IWF Director General.
Representatives of INA, LAO, MAS, MYA, SIN, THA, VIE approved the new SEAWF Constitution and elected the following officials:
President: Pol. Maj. Gen. Surasith Sangkhaphong (THA)
1st Vice Presidents: Myint Swe (MYA)
2nd Vice President: Tom Liaw (SIN)
Executive Board members: Sonny Kasiran (INA), Do Dinh Khang (VIE)
Dr. Ruangrit Upalanala Umpujh (THA) has been appointed as General Secretary.
