ORIS meeting for Rio 2016 Olympic Games
A meeting of the Weightlifting Working Group of the Olympic Results and Information Service (ORIS) for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games has just been held. The 3-days meeting held in Montreux, SUI defined the requirements for the service providers for the Games. The ORIS Weightlifting Document was updated in accordance with the new IWF Rules and Regulations, whereby the experiences from the implementation of the ORIS in London were also considered.
The meeting was led by Nicolas Hurel IOC Head of ORIS, and the IWF was represented by Robert Nagy, Technology Director and Attila Adamfi, Competition Director of the Federation. Also present were representatives of the IOC, Rio 2016, ATOS and Omega.
