Thomas Bach named new President of International Olympic Committee
Thomas Bach (GER) has today been named as the new President of the International Olympic Committee, succeeding Jacques Rogge.
The 1976 Olympic fencing gold medallist became the ninth President of the IOC since it was founded in 1894.
