The dream of winning third gold in a raw is broken
Polish weightlifter three times world champion (2006, 2009, 2010) Marcin Dołęga have had a problem with his right shoulder during the last months. Following a very careful medical check and consultation he decided not to take part at the World Championship of Paris in November.
Focusing on his main goal, London 2012, he prefered not to start. As he knows current condition does not allow him to achieve his best performence and doesn’t want to risk his health. Doctors recommended a surgery but Dolega is against it. He plans to visit a specialist clinic in Poznań next week.
