Cooperation and Unity – Motto of the WFA EB Meeting
The Weightlifting Federation of Africa held its Executive Board meeting in Nairobi, Kenya on 10 June 2011.
Dr. Kipchoge Keino, IOC Member and President of the Kenyan Olympic Committee (KOC), remarkable and admired Olympic hero participated in meeting of high importance attended also by Dr. Tamás Aján, IWF President.
Several topics were discussed and the agenda contained major issues regarding the All-African Games as well as the operation of the Weightlifting Federation of Africa. Both Dr. Kipchoge Keino and Dr. Tamás Aján underlined “Unity” as being the key factor of development and further improvement of Weightlifting sport in Africa.
