IWF Technical Visit in Kosice
IWF President Dr. Tamás Aján and IWF Competition Director Attila Ádámfi had a technical visit in the city of Kosice, Slovakia where the 3rd Youth World Championships will be held in 2012 September.
IWF representatives were welcomed by the President of the Slovakian Weightlifting Federation Pavel Mutafov, the Vice President Ján Stefanik, Technical Director Stefan Korpa and Head Coach Rudolf Lukac.
Great conditions will be provided by the organizers, and the city of Kosice fulfills all requirements in order to deliver very successful Youth World Championships.
Major of Kosice Richard Rasi had a highly profitable meeting with the IWF delegates and the Slovakian Weightlifting Federation at the City Hall. He expressed his great contentment about hosting such a great event and about the importance of initiating the young generation to sporting activities.
The IWF delegates left Kosice with a very positive impression in regard to the professionalism of the current Slovakian leadership acting with reactivity in order to satisfy all preparation needs of the Youth World Championships.
