Across both Europe and Asia there was extensive ‘live’ coverage of this year’s World Weightlifting Championships from Antalya, Turkey including: Eurosport’s pan European coverage to over sixty European countries in nineteen languages – plus Eurosport’s Asia/Pacific service to a further fourteen countries including Australia, Brunei, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tonga and Vietnam.

The Championships were also broadcasted nationwide by the following national broadcasters:

• CCTV, the National broadcaster of China
• NTV Plus in Russia
• The Public Television Company of Armenia
• Khabar TV of Kazakhstan

Supporting the ‘live’ broadcasts there were also daily world wide news reports originated by Reuters and the EBU’s Eurovision news service. Additionally, television crews from China, France, Korea and Germany are in Antalya reporting on the performance and progress of their respective athletes.
