International Olympic Academy bestows ‘Athina’ Award on Dr. Ajan
At the IOA Session Opening Ceremony on the Hill of Pnyx in Athens, the organisation bestowed its Award ‘Athina’ on IWF President Dr. Tamás Aján. Dr. Aján’s over 30 years long contributions to the International Olympic Academy and his devoted services as President of the Hungarian Olympic Academy were thus appreciated and honoured by the representatives of the IOA and the Greek Sport. The presentation was performed by Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, President of the International Olympic Academy. Mr. Pavlos Yeroulanos, Minister of Culture and Tourism and weightlifting hero and triple Olympic champion Pyrros Dimas were also in attendance and offered their congratulations to Dr. Aján.
