IWF Out of competition testing results
The IWF has carried out an extensive out of competition doping control testing in the past few month to try to ensure equal chances for all lifters at the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships (WWC) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Based on the IWF Anti Doping rules all Adverse Analytical Findings (AAF) shall kept confidential until the cases are closed. However given the short timeline until the 2007 WWC the IWF given shorter deadlines for the countries and lifters involved to request the B sample analysis and/or the Hearing.
For equality and fairness the IWF hereby lists only the name of the countries and the gender of the concerned athletes involved and facing sanctions for positive doping tests (results received until 31st September 2007).
ALB – 3 male lifters
BLR – 1 female lifter
MEX – 1 female lifter
BUL – 1 female lifter
IND – 1 male lifter
