    Congress of the Asian Weightlifting Federation

    The Congress of the Asian Weightlifting Federation was held on 2-3 February 2007 in Macau. Delegates of 39 countries attended the Congress.
    Sheik Sultan Bin Mejren from the United Arab Emirates has been elected as President of the AWF, and Mr. Ali Moradi re-elected as Secretary General.
