Listing 29 competitors, the men’s 105kg category featured the defending world champion, Russian Dmitry Klokov who was pushed back into third place.
Poland’s European Champion Marcin Dolega won, and the silver medal was taken by Dmitry Lapikov of Russia, lifting in the B group.
Klokov saved two attempts in clean and jerk to capture the final victory but as he missed 227kg twice, he finally had to settle for the bronze medals.
